The Riverboat Postman tour NAIDOC Week

Under the banner of Hello Hornsby, we will host an event celebrating NAIDOC Week. This year’s theme For Our Elders will be embraced via a trip on The Riverboat Postman for elders from our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and their family.

Tuesday 4 July, 9.30am-1.30pm (trip is 10am-1pm)

Location: Departing from and returning to Brooklyn
Event cost: Free

Our trip to Canoelands Orchard will include:

  • Transport to and from Canoelands Orchard
  • Devonshire Tea served on arrival
  • Bee Talk
  • Opportunity to:
    • Hear from the orchardists about the 100 year history of Canoelands Orchard
    • Meet horses and other farm animals
    • Have photos with nectarine blossoms in the background
    • Fruit picking * (subject to availability and conditions – to be paid by the participant)
    • Shopping in the farm stall – fresh produce made/grown on site (fruit, honey, etc)
