At the 13 March 2019 General Meeting, Council considered a Notice of Motion submitted by Councillor Marr and resolved to release to the public the Capital Insight Report prepared for Council about a Berowra Aquatic Facility.
The Capital Insight Report was commissioned by Council to examine a Study which had been prepared by the Berowra District Community Association (BDCA) into the feasibility of a Berowra Aquatic Facility. That Study was submitted to the previous Mayor in September 2016 and was prepared by the BDCA in the knowledge that Council had formally decided in 2010 (and reaffirmed in 2013) that it would not be proceeding with the construction of an aquatic centre in Berowra. There was no requirement or resolution by Council for the Capital Insight Report to be tabled at a Council Meeting.
