Community Grants

Hornsby Shire Council supports local community groups by providing and assisting with community grants.

Applications for 2019 are currently open and close Friday 31 May 2019.

ClubGRANTS funding is available for community welfare and social services, community development, community health services and employment assistance activities. The money comes from the four largest registered clubs in the Shire.

Funding is divided into two categories:

Category 1
Specific community welfare and social services, community development, community health services and employment assistance activities.

Category 2
Other community development support services and applications are made by sending a letter directly to one of the participating clubs. The four clubs are:

  • Hornsby RSL
  • Magpies Waitara
  • West Pennant Hills Sports Club
  • The Galston Club
