Hornsby Library has two meeting rooms that are available for hire during library opening hours. Berowra Library has one meeting room that is available for hire outside of library opening hours.
Hornsby Library Meeting Room is suitable for up to 60 people or 50 seated at tables, with a small kitchenette attached.
Esther Wait Room is suitable for up to 30 people or 20 seated at tables.
Berowra Library Meeting Room is suitable for up to 14 people seated at tables.
A portable whiteboard, projector screen and hot water urn are available at no extra charge (Hornsby Library only). This equipment must be booked in advance when hiring the room.
Public toilets are also available at both libraries.
Hornsby Library Charges
Standard rate is $28 per hour for government departments and any individual, group or organisation that charges for its services.
Community/Non-profit rate is $14 per hour for charities, community groups and self-help groups that don't charge for their services.
It is $3 per hour to book the TV and DVD player (available in the main meeting room only) and a further $3 per hour to book the electronic whiteboard.
Berowra Library Charges
Standard Rate is $16 per hour for government departments and any individual, group or organisation that charges for its services.
Community/Non Profit Rate is $10 per hour for charities, community groups and self-help groups that don't charge for their services.
Tea and coffee making facilities are available in the foyer. A portable whiteboard is available at no extra cost.
