Thornleigh Oval Great North Walk Track Head Upgrade
Council is upgrading the Great North Walk track head at Thornleigh Oval. The Great North Walk is a very popular walking track for locals and tourists. The track head at Thornleigh Park has become degraded over many years of use and is beyond general maintenance activities.
The upgrade works include:
- removal of the old treated timber steps,
- installation of new sandstone steps,
- installation of drainage beside steps
The upgrade works are commencing on Thursday March 16, and will be completed within 2 weeks.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm.
