Swimming in Our Waterways

Hornsby Shire's beautiful waterways and bushland parks provide plenty of places to swim, along with a host of other aquatic pursuits.

Popular swimming places are located at Brooklyn Baths, Crosslands, Berowra Waters and Dangar Island, with many more suitable swimming spots dotted along the Hawkesbury River edge.

Council has developed a Swimming Conditions Map, which shows if it is safe to swim at each of the locations.
