Mills Park Playspace, Asquith
Following community consultation Council has prepared a Landscape Plan for Mills Park, Asquith to set a vision for upcoming capital works upgrades.
The Landscape Concept Plan proposes the following items:
- Renewal of the playground including a multiplay unit, swings, nature play equipment and mini trampoline.
- New pedestrian paths
- Outdoor fitness station with a range of equipment
- Re-paint the existing tennis hit-up wall – Completed
- Site signage
- New pedestrian lighting
- Additional tree plantings to improve shade around the playspace.
This project is proudly funded by the NSW Government in association with Hornsby Shire Council.

Update – May 2025
Construction works will commence on Monday 12 May with completion expected in August 2025, weather permitting.

Community consultation is now closed and the project is now progressing to the construction phase.

Community consultation was undertaken in September – October 2024. Following a review of submissions, the Draft Landscape Concept Plan was revised to take on board the feedback we received from the community. The revised Landscape Concept Plan can be viewed at the YourSay page.
