Shared Path – Peats Ferry Road, Hornsby
This project involves removal of existing footpath and 2.5m wide shared path construction. The aim of these works is to improve traffic pedestrian and cyclist amenity and road user safety, and also contribute to reducing traffic congestion in the Sydney metropolitan area. It is proposed to commence the works in March 2021 and anticipated to take approximately 8 weeks to complete, weather permitting. Proposed construction works are expected to cause some temporary disruption and inconvenience, mainly with regards construction noise, storage of construction materials and sheds in road reserve, and short-term loss of on-street parking.
