Peats Ferry Road Main Street Upgrade Works (Old Berowra Road – Wattle Street)

Works to upgrade Peats Ferry Road were completed in August 2023. This stage of works has provided new street trees and mass planting in a roadway median, street lighting, a raised threshold crossing near the Asquith Bowling Club, water quality treatment raingardens, verge plantings, furniture and the widening of all footpaths to cater for higher levels of use, including a pedestrian/ cycle sharepath constructed on the north-western side of Peats Ferry Road. This stage of works added to earlier completed works, to deliver a sharepath extending from Hornsby Town Centre to the shops at Wattle Street in Asquith.
