Remagine Art Prize 2024 winner announced
The winner of the Remagine Art Prize 2024 has been announced, with Lane Cove based artist Phoebe Stone taking out the first prize of $5,000 for her oil and pastel painting, Serene Sea. Inspiration for Phoebe’s work came when she was walking the Gadyan track around Sydney's Berry Island Reserve and her eye was taken through the native scrub and over to a large oil tanker. -

Visit the 2024 Remagine Art Prize exhibition to explore the 'Crossroads of Consumption'
At its General Meeting held yesterday, Hornsby Shire Council adopted a special Mayoral Minute outlining its strong opposition to the NSW Government’s last-minute decision to impose an enormous Emergency Services Levy (ESL) cost increase on councils for 2023/24. By scrapping the ESL subsidy, this will impact Council’s budget by $1.8 million. -
