Event cost: Free. Bookings essential.

The community garden is local, organic, sustainable, showcasing, composting, worm farms, vegetable gardens, wicking beds, fruit trees, rainwater harvesting, rainwater tanks, rainwater pump powered by solar. Solar panels on the shed roof, propagation shed which was made by the volunteers out of recycled materials, compost bays and edging with sleepers made from soft plastics. The community garden is a great example where residents and visitors can see what they can do in the home garden, small space and balcony.

Tables and chairs in shade and full sun. Plenty of car parking in adjacent streets.

Free to Hornsby Shire residents. Light refreshments will be provided.
