Clothes Mending

Learn how to mend your own clothes with hand sewing techniques, rather than letting your favourite wardrobe item go to waste! Join our workshop with the experienced sewers from Sew Make Create to learn the basics of repairing clothes using just a needle and thread. Skills covered include fixing zippers, sewing on buttons, and hemming. Feel free to bring along an item of clothing for some help and advice on how to mend it. This workshop is beginner friendly.

All events hosted by the Waste Management Branch are held at accessible council venues.
