Hornsby Shire Council is directly responsible for 2,000 hectares of bushland. Council manages policies and strategies as well as operate programs to ensure that our bushlands and waterways and the flora and fauna that live in them are protected.
Hornsby Shire Libraries Instagram Launch Competition - Terms and Conditions
The promoter of this Competition is Hornsby Shire Council, c/o Hornsby Library, 28-44 George Street, Hornsby, NSW, 2077.
Entry to our Instagram Launch Competition (the “Competition”) is open to adultusers of the libraries, who takes a photo at Hornsby Library, Berowra Library, Galston Library or Pennant Hills Library during the promotional period. An entrant must be an individual and cannot be a company or organisation. Entrant must be 18 years and over. Employees of the Council and their family members, any person associated with the Competition and any person associated with the provision of the prizes are not eligible to enter.
Eligible entries must be posted to Instagram during the promotional period – Monday 29 July – Sunday 11 August 2024 (AEST).
There is no cost to entering the competition.
Only one entry per person. Additional entries will be disregarded, with only the first entry being accepted.
Entrants must be 18 years and over, and a user of the Hornsby Shire Libraries.
To enter the Competition, each entrant must:
Take a ‘library shelfie’ at one of our four locations – Hornsby Library, Berowra Library, Galston Library or Pennant Hills Library; or take a photo of their favourite item from the Library collection eg their favourite book, game, movie etc.
They must post their photo to Instagram, tag @hornsbyshirelibraries and follow our page.
By tagging @hornsbyshirelibraries, each entrant agrees that:
All work submitted must be original and created by the person submitting the entry.
By participating, each entrant agrees to Council using the image for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes of the Council in any media.
The winner will be selected by a random draw on Monday 12 August, 2024 (AEST) and will be contacted via an Instagram direct message (DM).
The winner will be announced on Instagram on Monday 12 August, 2024 and must come to one of our four Library locations to collect their prize, before Monday 2 September, 2024.
If the prize is not claimed within 3 weeks of the prize draw, another winner will be selected. This pattern will continue until all prizes are claimed.
