Connecting Around Mental Health – Trauma

Connecting Around Mental Health is a series beginning 31st August at Thornleigh Community Baptist Church. It responds to the reality that may in our local community face mental health challenges. Our aim is to create a welcoming, supporting environment where important conversations can happen, people feel understood and where practical help is offered. We are hosting free midweek seminars.

On Wednesday 10 September 7:30-9pm, Joe Alberts, Senior Clinical Psychologist, The Resilience Centre, Epping, will be speaking on understanding trauma: how the brain processes it, its impact and evidence-based treatments.
