Following the resounding success of its May event, Hornsby Shire Council’s popular Westside Vibe returns on 25 November. This one-off special spring edition of the popular laneway festival takes you on a sensory journey of taste, sound and atmosphere to leave you full of the joys of springtime.

Two decades of dedication to preserving Hornsby Shire’s beautiful natural environment have been acknowledged as local bushcare volunteer, Barry Lees, was named the Senior and Overall Regional Volunteer of the year by The Centre for Volunteering.

At last night’s meeting, Hornsby Shire Council approved a recommendation to commence an extensive program of community engagement around applying to the NSW Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART) for a Special Rate Variation (SRV).

After two years of lying dormant, 100 unique and original artworks have been shortlisted in Hornsby Shire Council’s 2022 Hornsby Art Prize.
