Hornsby Shire Council is made up of four divisions:
Corporate Support, which includes Financial Services, Governance and Customer Service, People and Culture, Information Communication and Technology Systems, Land and Property Services, and Strategy and Communications.
Environment and Human Services, which includes Community Services, Library and Information Services, Natural Resources and Waste Management.
Planning, which includes Compliance and Certification, Development Assessments, and Strategic Planning.
Infrastructure and Recreation, which includes Asset Management and Maintenance, Design and Construction, Parks and Recreation and Traffic and Road Safety.
