Reporting illegal tree removal, pruning or damage

If you see someone undertaking illegal tree removal, pruning or damage to a tree, report it to Council’s Customer Service team on (02) 9847 6666, Monday to Friday between 8.30am-5pm, or email hsc@hornsby.nsw.gov.au.

If possible, provide evidence such as photographs, video footage or vehicle registration numbers. Evidence is essential when investigating and prosecuting offences, as reports based on hearsay cannot be used to support enforcement action.
