Nominate Your Business for the 2026 Hornsby Ku‑ring‑gai Local Business Awards

Hornsby Shire Council is proud to be a long‑standing major sponsor of the Hornsby Ku‑ring‑gai Local Business Awards. Council is committed to recognising and celebrating the hard work, dedication and success of local businesses that contribute to the economic and social vitality of our community.

The Local Business Awards acknowledge outstanding local businesses and individuals who demonstrate excellence and make a positive impact in their local area.

How to participate

Local businesses are invited to self‑nominate via thebusinessawards.com.au.

Once nominations are open, members of the community can vote for their favourite businesses from 13 April to 12 May 2026. Businesses receiving the highest number of votes in each category will be announced as finalists.

All finalists will be invited to attend the Awards Presentation Evening at Hornsby RSL Club on Monday 13 July 2026.

Exposure and benefits for participants

Council is pleased to offer additional promotional opportunities for participating businesses and award winners.

All finalists will:

  • Be listed on Council’s website
  • Be promoted across Council’s social media channels, including Facebook and LinkedIn
  • Feature in Council’s monthly e‑newsletter, reaching more than 24,000 subscribers

Award winners will also:

  • Receive ongoing promotion on Council’s website and social media channels following the Awards Presentation Evening
  • Be promoted through local media as recognised award winners
