Where your rates go

Rates are used to provide essential infrastructure and local services. If you own a home or business property you will pay rates to Council. These rates are determined in accordance with the provisions of the Local Government Act 1993.

Your rates contribute to the building of new facilities, improving infrastructure and protecting the environment in Hornsby Shire through:
