Tech Savvy Seniors – Stay in Touch with Social Media and Video Calls

Staying in touch with friends and loved ones is easier than ever, you can access social media and video calls from your smart phone or device.

This workshop will enable participants to explore and navigate different social media platforms including how to add friends, post to your feed, and interact with your friend’s content. You will also discover the features of built in and downloadable apps for video calls. You will learn how to make a video call, check and use your camera and microphone during a call, browse your social media feed and react to a post.

Tech Savvy Seniors is a NSW Government Initiative in Partnership with Telstra designed as an introduction to technology for those aged 60+.

What to bring: We recommend bringing your own smartphone or device to practice with.
