Building Disability Confidence Program
Next date: Tuesday, 21 July 2026 | 10:00 AM
to 12:00 PM
Join us for an interactive session designed to build confidence in working and engaging with people with disability across community, business and council settings.
This practical workshop explores what disability really means, the barriers people experience, and how small changes in communication, environments and attitudes can make a big difference. You’ll learn simple, realistic ways to create more inclusive spaces, whether you’re speaking with customers, supporting community members, or planning events.
This session is open to everyone including community members, local businesses, council staff and people with disability. It focuses on building understanding, reducing uncertainty, and turning good intentions into confident, inclusive action.
