All guided bushwalks are for Hornsby Shire residents only.
Celebrate World Migratory Bird Day with some birdwatching and bushwalking in the Brooklyn area with this moderately challenging to challenging three hour (6.5km) walk.
After perusing Sandbrook Inlet for migratory wading birds, we ascend the steep slopes of the ridge behind Brooklyn to witness the breathtaking views of the Hawkesbury River and Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. Follow a section of the Great North Walk through stunning sandstone woodland communities, to the peaceful and picturesque Brooklyn Dam. Hopefully, we'll see some terrestrial migratory birds along the way.
