Council is undertaking essential lift replacement works in Hornsby Mall (Florence Street West) to upgrade infrastructure and improve reliability, safety and accessibility for the community. These works will be carried out in stages to minimise disruption and maintain access with one lift replaced at a time.
Council has programmed the following works to take place in Hornsby Mall over the coming months.
Traffic: A temporary works zone, including a shipping container will be established within Hornsby Mall. The existing loading zone for nearby businesses will remain available. Some minor traffic delays may occur at times. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
Noise: General construction noise may occur during the works.
