KYDS Spring Splash 2026

Next date: Sunday, 25 October 2026 | 01:00 PM to 05:00 PM

Join Spring Splash on Sunday, 25 October 2026, at Hornsby Aquatic & Leisure Centre. Swim, cheer, volunteer or simply show up - every act of support helps fund KYDS Youth Counselling.

Every day, young people reach out to KYDS for help. A local service that's there for as long as it takes - no referral or Medicare card required, and counselling is free for those who need it. This October, our community is diving in to keep it that way.

Spring Splash is a swim challenge for everyone - solo swimmers, teams and families. Choose your own challenge: make a splash (100m), dip your toes in (1km), swim steady (2km), go the distance (5km), or challenge yourself and swim 10km - all at your own pace. It costs just $25 to register, which covers your pool entry. From there, we're asking each participant to fundraise what they can before the big day. Every dollar raised goes directly to KYDS, helping keep mental health support accessible for young people who need it. Can't make it in the water? Family and friends are welcome (pool spectator fee applies), and there's a full afternoon of community fun on land too - face painting, kids' activities, a Lions Club BBQ, live music and games.

Supported by Hornsby Shire Council.
