Pyes Creek, Cherrybrook

All guided bushwalks are for Hornsby Shire residents only.

This one hour, thirty minute (800m) easy to moderately challenging circuit includes the recently built swing bridge over Pyes Creek.

We will explore a sensitive urban vegetation corridor with mature peppermints, Sydney redgums and turpentines. We will also be going through a secluded coachwood rainforest on our second crossing of Pyes Creek.

Walk grade: 2.5 (easy to moderately challenging)- It contains a few sections of trail that are hilly, steep or rough.
Suitability: Adults and teens with no bushwalking experience and a basic to moderate level of fitness, and primary (7-12years) aged children with bushwalking experience.
Supervision: Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
