What items are accepted for bulky waste collections

ACCEPTED

Accepted item The following items CAN be put out for collection:

  • Large household items
  • Furniture and mattresses
  • Large electrical appliances and whitegoods
  • Scrap metal
  • Rolled rugs and carpet
  • Toys, sporting and camping items
  • Small wood and timber items

NOT ACCEPTED

Unaccepted item The following items WILL NOT be collected:

  • Garbage, food scraps and recycling
  • Televisions and computers
  • Garden waste
  • Asbestos and fibro sheeting
  • Hazardous waste (paint, petrol, oil, gas bottles, fire extinguishers, light globes)
  • Building and demolition waste (including concrete, bricks and soil)
  • Glass and mirrors
  • Car parts, batteries and tyres
