Partial reopening of Galston Gorge - 23 February to 16 March 2026

Galston Road will move to a partial daytime reopening from Monday 23 February. The road will operate under single lane with traffic control during the day between 5am-8pm, with a full closure in place at night from 8pm. Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to allow additional travel time. For more info visit:

Hello Hornsby Celebrates Harmony Week 2026 with a Lunchtime Chat

Council will host a delicious light lunch and opportunity to celebrate the rich diversity within Hornsby Shire.

We will encourage community connection as an avenue for social cohesion by asking people to share stories from their childhood as a way of learning more about the rich tapestry that makes our community so vibrant. Open to Hornsby Shire residents of all ages, we invite you to spend your lunch break with us.
