The Summer Reading Club is a free program run by Hornsby Shire Libraries throughout December and January to promote recreational reading over the school holidays. This year’s Summer Reading Club will be completely online and available through the Beanstack app.

Participants can view the Summer Reading Club Launch show featuring Suzy Spindoll’s Circus Skills workshop on the Hornsby Shire Libraries Facebook page from Monday 30 November to Friday 4 December. Weekly prizes will be drawn at all Hornsby Shire Libraries branches and there will be an opportunity to win one of four $50 gift card major prizes at the end of the program.

If you have already registered with Beanstack when participating in our previous programs, you will be able to join the Summer Reading Club on Thursday 3 December. New members to Beanstack simply need to visit the Resources for Kids page on the Hornsby Shire Libraries website and click on the Beanstack link to fill out the Registration form. Participants must register with a child’s card to be eligible to win any of the many prizes at each branch.

For more information, including the dates of the weekly draws, please visit the Summer Reading Club page.

For children aged 0-14 years.
