From the rainforest gullies of the Lane Cove River, to giant trees on the sheltered slopes, to the beautiful heath on the ridgetops, this three and a quarter hour (5.5 km) circuit bushwalk has it all! Along the way, discover some interesting local history from the Great Depression era of the 1930s, and view the city skyline down the length of Lane Cove Valley.

Grade: 3.5 (moderately challenging to challenging) - sections of trail are hilly, steep and rough.
Suitability: Adults and older teens (16-19 years) with some bushwalking experience and a moderate level of fitness. Not suitable for children.
Nearest train station to meeting point: 12 minute (1 km) walk from Thornleigh station.
