Hornsby Shire library members have free access to more than 7 million songs and 8,000 music videos from more than 28,000 labels.
How does it work?
The music and videos are accessed through Freegal Music. Library members can download up to three songs per week and stream up to five hours of music every day. Downloads can be transferred to other devices.
There is no cost, no loan period and no late fees. Downloaded files are yours to keep.
What do I need to access and download music?
- A current Hornsby Shire Library membership number and PIN;
- A computer or mobile device with an internet connection;
- To play on a smart phone or tablet you will need to download the Freegal Music mobile app, which is available for free from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store;
- To play on a computer you need software that plays MP3s, such as iTunes or Windows Media Player.
