COVID-19 UPDATE – Friday, 8 October
In accordance with the NSW Government roadmap for reopening, we are pleased to welcome our community back to many of our Council facilities next week.
From Monday 11 October, the following changes will be in place for Hornsby Shire Libraries.
- Proof of full vaccination is required on entry for ages 16 and over
- Children aged under 16 years must be accompanied by a fully vaccinated parent or legal guardian aged 16 or over

All libraries are operating under COVIDSafe plans.
All patrons must QR code check in using your own smartphone device.
Pennant Hills, Galston and Berowra Libraries will be open for loaning and returning only, with reduced operating hours:
Pennant Hills Library
Monday to Wednesday - 10am to 5pm
Thursday - 10am to 7pm
Friday - 10am to 5pm
Saturday - 10am to 4pm
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday - 1pm to 5pm
Friday - 10am to 12 noon and 1pm to 5pm
Saturday - 9.30am – 12 noon
Monday to Thursday - 1.30pm to 5.30pm
Friday - 10am to 2pm
Saturday - 9.30am to 12 noon and 1pm to 4pm
The last deliveries from the Library 2U service will be on Friday 8 October.
Hornsby Library is closed for ongoing refurbishment works. A date for reopening will be communicated as soon as it is confirmed.
