Disability Services

Hornsby Shire Libraries are open in accordance with the latest COVID-19 safety guidelines from NSW Government.

Our libraries are operating with limited hours, and we encourage you to use our Click & Collect service to keep your visit as brief as possible.

We are progressively increasing services and opening hours over the coming months based on advice from state and federal government.

All Hornsby Shire libraries have wheelchair access and wheelchair-accessible toilets, as well as services to assist those with disabilities.

Adaptive Technology Access Centre (ATAC)

The Adaptive Technology Access Centre at Hornsby Library provides equipment and software designed to improve access to the library's resources for people with a disability.

A Luxo Magnification Lamp is available at Hornsby Library.

Home Library Service

A Home Library Service is available for residents unable to visit the library due to disability, illness or frailty.
