Proposed upgrade to playground at Oxley Reserve, Mount Colah.

Council is proposing to upgrade the playground at Oxley Reserve, Mount Colah. Last year works were undertaken to renew the rubber softfall and during this process some of the existing equipment was found to have been rotten and needed to be replaced. As a result new replacement equipment was installed. We have since received feedback that people wanted additional equipment and shade.

In response, the existing newly installed play equipment is proposed to be retained and a new multi-play piece, suitable for older children, installed. Rubber softfall areas will also be adjusted. Sections of pavement within the playground area  are proposed to be removed to create space for new garden beds, shade trees and seating. Fencing will be adjusted to create space for a new rest area within the playground including relocation of the existing picnic shelter. Eight shade trees will also be provided within the parkland reserve.

Exhibition Start Date: Monday 11 March 2019
Exhibition Finish Date: Friday 22 March 2019 (close of business)
