Landscaping work continuing, Middle Dural to Galston

The NSW Government is funding this essential landscape maintenance to keep visibility clear for road users and pedestrians and the vegetation neat and tidy.

Transport for NSW continually carry out landscape maintenance on Mid Dural Road from Old Northern Road at Middle Dural to Galston Road at Galston. Work includes mowing tall grass, trimming overgrown vegetation, sweeping and collecting litter. We use ride-on mowers, blowers and whipper snippers.

Work schedule

We do this work mainly during the day. Over the next six months, we will limit our night work to a maximum of 10 night shifts between 8pm and 5am from Sunday to Friday. We will inform the community and stakeholders if this changes.

How will the work affect you?

Some landscape maintenance may be noisy at times but we will make every effort to minimise its impact by staging it in different locations.

Some of our work needs to be carried out at night to minimise traffic disruption and reduce safety risks to the workers and motorists.

To minimise disruption to residents, businesses and road users, we will not work more than one night a week in the same location.

There will be temporary traffic changes during our work hours to ensure the work zone is safe.

Please keep to speed limits and follow signs and traffic controllers’ directions. For the latest traffic updates, you can call 132 701, visit livetraffic.com or download the Live Traffic NSW App.
