Landscaping maintenance on the Pacific Highway, Mt Kuring-Gai to Cowan
The NSW Government is carrying out this essential work as part of ongoing maintenance of the State road network.
Transport for NSW will carry out landscape maintenance on the Pacific Highway between Beaumont Road, Mt Kuring-Gai and the M1 Motorway entrance, Cowan.
Our work will include mowing tall grass, trimming overgrown vegetation, mulching garden beds, sweeping and collecting litter. We will use ride-on mowers, excavators and sometimes blowers and whipper snippers.
Our maintenance work aims to:
- increase safety
- provide consistent driving conditions
- reduce maintenance costs.
We will carry out this work over the next six months, excluding public holidays.
Our work hours will be between 8pm and 5am from Sunday to Thursday.
We will keep the community and stakeholders informed if this changes.
How will the work affect you?
To minimise the disruption to the road network and ensure we reduce disruption and inconvenience for road users, we will need to carry this work out at night. Our work may be noisy at times but we will do everything we can to minimise its impact, including completing the noisier tasks by 11pm.
Lane closures will be in place and may affect travel times. Please keep to speed limits and follow signs and traffic controllers’ directions. For the latest traffic updates, you can call 132 701, visit livetraffic.com or download the Live Traffic NSW App.
