Are you looking for licensed quality child care? Council operates five child care facilities across the Shire. The operation of these centres is based on respect for the child as an active citizen of our community and the provision of education and care in a safe, healthy and stimulating teaching environment.
Facilities include Nursery and Preschool Centres (long day care) and an Early Childhood Education Centre (long day care and sessional care).

Council's child care centres are located in:
Eastwood (Somerville Park)
Long day care is a service that provides education and care for children up to five years old for periods of up to 10.75 hours per day while parents are working or completing work-related study. There are also a limited number of sessional care places at Eastwood. Sessional care allows parents and carers to take time out for shopping, work, study, to attend appointments, sport and leisure activities or just to relax and have a break.
