Additional bins
If your bins are constantly being overfilled you can purchase additional garbage, recycling or green waste bin services by downloading a Request for additional waste service form - 187kb and then email, fax or post it to the waste management team. The form must be signed by the owner of the property.
Please note there is an additional charge/s for each extra bin and this will placed onto your rates notice. Fees for 2011/2012 are:
- Additional red bin - $104.00 per financial year
- Additional yellow recycling bin - $36.00 per financial year
- Additional green waste bin - $36.00 per financial year

Have you considered setting up a compost bin or worm farm to manage your excess green waste and food waste? Council sells compost bins and worm farms and also hold regular workshops. Working models of a compost bin and a worm farm are on display at the Fagan Park Eco Garden.
Additional waste and recycling can be taken to your nearest Waste Management Centre. For enquiries on charges and the location of your closest centre visit the WSN Environment Solutions website or phone 1800 651 116. Up to 200 kilograms of recycling will be accepted free of charge if it is presented separate to or free of other rubbish.
