Skip bins and waste container permit
Council approval is required prior to placement of skip bins or containers on footways, nature strips and road shoulders within Hornsby Shire. Please read conditions and guidelines listed below prior then complete the application and return to council with the appropriate fee.
Application form - placing a waste container / shipping container in a public place (227kb) – Have you reviewed the attached conditions and guidelines? Then complete required details and give a brief description on where you would like to place the skip bin or container and return to council.
PAYMENT OPTIONS – You can pay in person, by credit card or Online (Online services is currently unavailable)
Please note that containers placed on private property do not incur a fee and no application is necessary.
