From the last week of January to mid March each year, the Centre is closed during School hours (8:30am - 3:30pm) for local School Swimming Carnivals. Please contact the Centre for a detailed timetable in January 2010

PROGRAM (LTS) POOL HOURS
The 12m Program Pool will be CLOSED to the Public, to enable Learn to Swim lessons to take place during the following times:
Monday to Friday - 9:00am to 12:30pm and 3:00pm to 7:00 pm
Saturday - 8:00am to 4:00pm
Sunday - 8:00am to 12noon
The use of the Program Pool outside these hours is restricted to patrons doing gentle exercise and Small Children accompanied and supervised by Parents.
LEARN TO SWIM

- All staff fully qualified with AUSTSWIM

Bookings essential. Please call to book in for a free assessment.
- Learn to Swim lessons are conducted year-round.
- Lessons coincide with the school terms.
- Group lessons run for half an hour.
Lessons run on Monday to Sunday mornings and Monday to Saturday afternoons.
The cost for group lessons is $150 for a 10 lesson term.

Aquabliss conducts the following Squads at Hornsby Aquatic Centre

Hornsby Amateur Swim Club
From September 2009 to March 2010 the Hornsby Amateur Swim Club will re-commence club activities from 6:30pm every Friday. The Pool will not be available to the general public after this time. To join the Club please contact them direct. Its fun for the whole family.

Aquarobics
- Aqua fitness class run throughout the week.
- Monday: 6:15am to 7:00am
- Tuesday: 6:00am to 6:45am
- Wednesday: 6:00am to 6:45am
- Thursday: 6:30pm to 7:15pm
- Friday: 6:15am to 7:00am
- Saturday: 6:15am to 7:00am and
10:00am to 10:45am - The Aqua Class schedule may be subject to change during the Winter months
Cost per casual class: $12 Adult, $10 Student and $9 Concession. 5 and 20 ticket passes are also available.
Bookings are essential, so if you would like to join a class please ring the Centre on

Child minding / creche
- Child minding facilities are available to coincide with Aquarobics and other programs.
- Monday, Friday 9:30am to 10:30am; 10:30 am to 11:30am
Please note the creche is only operating on Monday and Friday mornings.
Cost is $5 per hour per child. 10 and 20 ticket passes are also available.
Bookings are essential as there is a maximum number of children looked after each hour.
Please ensure that you drop off and collect your child within the hour you have booked, to ensure we do not exceed the maximum limit of children in our care per hour. We are Peanut Free environment due to the risk of allergies.
We ask that you please do not bring your child if they are unwell. A copy of our Child minding Sickness Policy is available at request. We are happy to look after children from 4 months old to school age.
Lap Swimming
- Is limited/restricted during February to mid March due to local School Swimming Carnivals,
- and also between October to mid December due to School Swimming.

3 month Season passes or 20 ticket admission passess for swimming are available. Please check with each Centre for special program costs and availability.
AQUATIC CENTRE POLICIES
1. All children under 13 years of age must be accompanied and supervised by an adult (over 16 years) at all times in the centre.
2. The entire facility and grounds are non-smoking.
3. No alcohol or people under the influence of alcohol are permitted on the premises.
4. Appropriate swimming attire is to be worn (no cut off jeans).
5. All members are to show their cards each visit.
6. No equipment is lent out to public. please do not ask as refusal to may offend.
7. No private coaching / personal training or teaching learn to swim, unless in accordance with centre programs and conducted by appointed centre staff.
8. Parents / carers are responsible for supervising children and maintaining appropriate behaviour, please observe the pool rules as management reserves the right to expel any person not complying.
