Wander through the leafy garden and enjoy the sights and tastes. Appreciate the peace and quiet and enjoy your lunch from one of many seats or tables, made from recycled materials of course! The kids can count tadpoles, look for lizards and draw on the blackboards.

Be Inspired!
Workshops, school holiday activities and special events are held regularly through the year. If you’re interested in growing vegetables and herbs you can learn about eco gardening techniques such as no dig gardening, companion planting and permaculture. Find out about non-toxic gardening methods and how to create your own fertilizers. Discover the benefits of native plants in a garden and try some bush foods. There are also more specialised workshops on recycling systems such as composting and worm farms.

Get Involved!
The Eco Garden is maintained by a team of volunteers who have found the experience to be rewarding and enjoyable. So why not join our team of volunteers. You can help out onsite with weekly or monthly visits or participate in one of our off-site programs such as Satellite Seeds and Seedlings. If you would like to grow herbs and vegetables, individual and group plots are available.
