Cycling map
This Cycling Map (2.74mb) was an initiative of Council's Sustainable Action Committee (SAC). SAC aims to improve quality of life by making sure our community, environment and economy are respected and equitably sustained. SAC provides residents, businesses, institutions and Council with a forum to meet others who are committed to making a difference, whilst learning, making decisions, developing strategies and undertaking projects such as this Cycling Map that contribute to to the Shire's vision of creating a living environment.
CARES Facilities
The NSW Police Service runs bicycle education centres under the Community and Road Education Scheme (CARES) Program. CARES is a road safety education program that has been specifically designed for school children in years 4 to 6, with an emphasis on road rules and using bicycles as a teaching school.
