Galston Community Centre - exterior side view

The Galston Community Centre is an ideal venue for wedding receptions, club events, social functions, dances, performances, meetings, classes, conferences, seminars, and community events.

The Galston Community Centre, previously known as the Galston School of Arts Hall, was built in 1892 and provided the community with a popular venue for parties, community functions, and a general meeting place.

Galston Community Centre - exterior front view

A number of years ago, Hornsby Council renovated and extended the old hall. Care was taken to ensure the preservation of the hall's character. A wall of windows and a wonderful wooden cathedral ceiling allows plenty of natural light into the Centre, and views of the gardens and lawns. There is a small stage area for concerts and plays. There is ample parking available at the rear of the Centre.

This community centre is managed by the Galston Community Centre 377 Management Committee. For more information about the centre and images, visit www.galstoncommunityhall.com.au. (Please note this website is not maintained by Hornsby Shire Council, and views expressed by the 377 Committee are not those of Hornsby Shire Council .)
