Situated in Dence Park, Epping, the Epping Creative Centre is designed to provide recreational space for the community with an emphasis on creative, educational, and related leisure activities.
The Epping Creative Centre was opened in September 1989 in the back rooms of the Dence Park building from the visions of local community members. In 1999 Council granted the Epping Creative Centre Committee full use of the premises, which allowed the Centre and its users additional space for different types of arts and crafts.
The extension of the Centre was celebrated at an Official Opening held in September 2000.
Epping Creative Centre is home to over 25 regular arts and craft groups and still continues to grow. The success of Epping Creative Centre is attributed to the many community members who regularly volunteer their time, knowledge or expertise in improving and managing the Centre.
The Epping Creative Centre Management Committee has delegated authority from Council under Section 377 Local Government Act (1993) for the care and control of the Epping Creative Centre.
