Completed artworks are to be delivered for exhibition to Wallarobba Arts and Cultural Centre 25 Edgeworth David Avenue (Willow Park), Hornsby on Sunday 3 June 2012 between 3pm and 5pm.
Judging will take place on Tuesday 5 June 2012 by a panel of judges.
The presentation of prizes and exhibition opening will take place on Friday 8 June 2012 at 7pm.
All artworks will be on exhibition and sale to the public from 10am Wednesday 6 June 2012 – 4pm Sunday 24 June 2012.
Collection of artworks is between 4pm – 6pm on Sunday 24 June and 10am -12 noon Monday 25 June 2012.
The Hornsby Shire Council Returned to Glory Recycled Art Competition and Exhibition celebrates the re-use and recycling of waste in the Hornsby Shire area through art.
Over $5,000 in prizes will be awarded to the winners, in each of the following categories: 3D/sculpture art; Functional art; Wearable art; Mixed Media (wall mounted); Youth Art (ages up to 24). Prizes will also be awarded for runners up and People’s Choice Award.
