Order Section 603 Rates and Charges Certificates
For your convenience there are a number of ways to pay your rates.
You can register to receive, pay and store your rates notices electronically using BPAY. This makes the process much more efficient for residents while reducing the impact on the environment by using less paper.
To register follow the three simple steps below. Once the registration is approved your next rates notice will automatically appear in your online banking account. You can also choose to receive notifications when your bill arrives via email, SMS or internet banking.

How to Register
- Log into your online banking account
- Click on the BPAY View or View Bills section
- Register to receive your rates notice by entering:
- the BPAY Biller Code: 7690
- your BPAY View registration number located next to the BPAY View logo on the front of the notice
- enter the name exactly as it appears in the first line from the address block on your rates notice
Councils Online Services offer residents a quick and easy way to pay any account by credit card. This includes rates, sundry debtors, applications and licences/permits.
To make a payment, simply go to Online Payments and select 'Rates'.
If you are a registered user in the Online Services Portal all your accounts held with Council can be displayed in a single view, with the option of making payments.
Make sure you register to take full advantage of all the services available.
Pay by direct debit
If you would like to automatically pay your rates using direct debit simply download and print the form below, then complete it and return it to Council. You can also phone 9847 6777 and ask for an application form to be sent to you.
Pay in person
If you would like to pay your rates in person drop into Council's Administration Centre at 296 Peats Ferry Road, Hornsby. The business hours are 8.30am to 5pm on weekdays.
In order to receive the pension concession on your rates, the pension application form below needs to be completed and returned to the Rates Department for processing.
Please include a photocopy of both sides of your pension concession card.
