Hornsby Infrastructure Levy
Council is currently seeking input from the community on a plan to pursue a rate variation.  Feedback will close on Monday 30 November.

Berowra Waters works and boat ramp and road closures
Developer Cameron Brae is undertaking works at Dusthole Bay and Berowra Waters. Trailer parking and general parking is currently severely restricted.

Hornsby Shire Housing Strategy

Council has resolved to extend the exhibition period for the Housing Strategy until Friday 17 July to provide further opportunity for community comment.

Council to be refunded Hornsby Quarry GST
The Administrative Appeals Tribunal on Tuesday determined the Australian Tax Office should now refund $2.3 million in GST on the $25.1 million that Council paid in compensation to CSR for the compulsory acquisition of Hornsby Quarry.

Council wins access to quarry valuation documents
The Supreme Court of New South Wales yesterday ruled in favour of Hornsby Council and granted it access to the documents that the Valuer General of NSW relied upon in determining the amount of compensation payable by Council for the compulsory acquisition of Hornsby Quarry.
