Hornsby art prize 2010

Council's Hornsby Art Prize competition will be held in November as part of the Hornsby Shire Festival of the Arts 2010.

Entries are now open for the 2010 Hornsby Art Prize.

A total prize pool of more than $15,000 is up for grabs. The artwork judged best overall (the Hornsby Art Prize) will win cash, a scholarship and gift vouchers to the value of $6,590.

Generous prizes will also be awarded to category winners. There are even two special categories for young people.

Entries close on Friday 5 November 2010.

Please note: Prize amendment, 3 August 2010

Due to unforseen circumstances a sponsor has had to pull out of the 2010 Hornsby Art Prize. As such the Judges' Recommendation Award valued at $890.00 will no longer be available. The Judges' Encouragement Award and Judges' Youth Encouragement Award are still available.
