Community bus hire
Hornsby Shire Council run a Community Access Bus.
What is meant by Community Access you ask?
This 12 seater Mercedes Sprinter diesel mini bus is available for hire to all Hornsby Shire groups. Priority is given to the frail aged, people with disabilities, and their carers, or community groups who assist these groups of people. The bus can be hired at a minimal cost starting at as little as $65.00 per day (100km limit).
The bus seats 12 (including driver & one wheelchair), or 11 (including the driver & two wheelchairs). The bus has a wheelchair hoist and the drivers who are hiring the bus are only required to hold a 1A Drivers Licence.
