ClubGRANTS funding is now available for community welfare and social services, community development, community health services and employment assistance activities.

Applications for 2012 are now open and will close 31 May 2012.

Community Donations Programme 2011-2012

Applications for the 2011-2012 Community Donations Programme will open 1 July 2011, and close 31 August. Download an application form and flyer below.

Council’s Donations Programme provides financial assistance to community groups and organisations that implement initiatives to address social and community issues in the Hornsby Shire.

The programme will favour community groups that demonstrate how their activities address community issues detailed in Council’s Community Development Service Plan 2011/12 such as:

  • Supporting healthy, active communities
  • Creating a sense of belonging
  • Meeting our diverse community needs

Please note: application assessment is a very competitive process and therefore, applications that meet programme criteria may not be successful.

Submitting your application

  • Read the Donations and Grants Policy. Make sure that your application for funding meets these guidelines before you apply.
  • Read Council's Social Plan and Service Plan - 1.5MB
  • Clearly detail what the funds will be used for. Provide a detailed budget and project plan. If Council can’t fund the whole project, it may consider part funding.
  • Make sure you submit your application before the close date. Late submissions will not be considered. Applications close at 5pm, August 31st, 2011.
