Hornsby Council places many documents on exhibition for your information and comment. Your input helps us get things right.
Council seeks comment on:
- Development applications (DAs).
- Management plans and strategies.
- Development controls such as Local Environment Plans and Development Control Plans.
Any submission made about DAs can be accessed by third parties under the Freedom of Information Act 1989 and Council Policy. They can also be reproduced in Council reports or in Court proceedings.

A Draft Estuary Management Plan for the Lower Hawkesbury (Wisemans Ferry to Broken Bay excluding Pittwater and Brisbane Water) will be publicly exhibited from Friday 1 August until Friday 10 October 2008.
The plan describes how the estuary will be managed, recommends solutions to management problems and details a schedule of activities for the implementation of these recommendations.
Council is inviting all residents and ratepayers to view this document and provide feedback.

Council has developed several options for the treatment of Coronation Street which extend the footway area on the south side of the street. Council has also developed a Westside Revitalisation Masterplan for Hornsby Westside.
